The film is about extreme love. A woman finds out that her husband has cheated on her, and he keeps asking for a divorce. So she puts poison in his food. It’s a story about obsession — about how love can easily become destruction.  I wanted to explore the moment when love loses its tenderness and turns into control, and how people sometimes destroy what they can’t let go of in the name of love.
